The 8th workshop was a practical report session held in the towns of Oketo and Bihoro in the Okhotsk region.

On November 16, 2024, the 8th workshop, the final session of the first year of My Regeneration Journey, was held in Oketo Town, Okhotsk, Hokkaido. Two farmers from Oketo Town who started cover cropping in the spring of 2023 gave a practical report. Local farmers and townspeople were also invited by members to participate.

The presenter in the photo is Mr. Hironaka from Oketo Town. The initiative is a challenge for each farmer, and while it is an individual practice, it is also a test to share with the members and connect with those who will be involved in the future.

The presenter in the photo was Mr. Arima from Oketo Town. He reported on the introduction of sheep to his cover crop fields this year. The sheep was cooked by Mr. Minagawa of Shakotan Shiokaze Sheep, Nagareyama Co., Ltd., and all the participants enjoyed the meal, which was a very valuable experience.

The photo shows Mr. Minagawa, the farm manager of Nagareyama Co., Ltd.'s "Shakotan Shiokase Sheep." At the social gathering, he cooked and cut up some lamb raised on Mr. Arima's cover crop.

At the end of the day, we took a commemorative photo with everyone from the second year who had participated that day. The second day of the workshop continued the next day.
