Overwintering cover crops helps to deepen the soil structure for spring.

A farmer in Miyazaki prefecture is experimenting with overwintering cover crops this year. He has been monitoring aggregation and rhizosheath development and has noticed a dramatic improvement in rhizosheath thickness over the past two weeks.
