On the 2nd day of the 6th Workshop, we visited Menno Village's ancient wheat, sheep, cows, horses, and machineries.

In the morning of the second day, after indoor lectures, we returned to the fields of Menno Village and headed to a field of Turkey Red wheat, a fixed species that has been carefully preserved by Raymond's ancestors.

One of our members, Mr. Yagi, brought a horse from Tomakomai, so we were able to interact with not only sheep and cows, but also horses. On the right in the photo is Mr. Katano, who joined us from Mie Prefecture.

This is an area of great interest to those working on regenerative agriculture across a wide area of Hokkaido.

Large-scale farmers also seemed to be very interested in unusual machinery such as roller crimpers, no-till drills, and a subsoiler machine Yomans plow that disturb the soil as little as possible.
